In October of 2000, IBM announced a new standard in server technology, z/Architecture and z/OS. SAS Institute is actively engaged in the IBM Development Partner program and is working closely with the S/390 hardware architects and z/OS software developers to ensure compatibility of existing applications with z/OS.
