Optimize the collections process to maximize return through SAS software’s analytically based scoring methodology.
Initial Action scoring.
All accounts entering the collections process receive an Initial Action (IA) score, based on supervised learning, to prioritize them for initial actions.
Action Effect scoring.
Each account receives Action Effect (AE) scores that predict the outcome of all possible actions that could be taken on the account and provide a road map of the best tactics for each case. The revenue department can choose the accounts and actions with the highest score or use some other prioritization scheme based on availability of resources.
Conduct ongoing evaluation.
Besides initial scoring, accounts are scored again as partial payments are made, payment promises are broken and additional debt is added to the account.
