Assuming the role as policy analyst in a SAS On-the-Job activity, we'll explore how COVID19 impacted the labor supply of women. All the while, we'll see how Jupyter in SAS Viya for Learners can incorporate a variety of coding languages - allowing the analyst to use the right tool for the right job. September 11 1-2:30pm EDT	Proc SQL, Proc Python, SAS IML - Oh My! SAS Studio - you may know it as SAS' latest interactive development environment for writing and executing your SAS®9 code. In this session, we will dive into the additional packages available in SAS Studio on SAS Viya for Learners that allow you to utilize SQL, Python, and interactive matrix language code. September 18 1-2:30pm EDT	I Spy with My Little Eye: Open-Source Code in my SAS Model Studio Project SAS Model Studio is the tool of choice for many expert predictive modelers and machine learning experts. October 16 1-2:30pm EDT	Recreate Pretty Dashboard Graphics with Code Standard dashboard graphics are visually appealing but coding them gives us more flexibility and creative control. October 23 1-2:30pm EDT	Using SAS Macros to Automate Programming Avoid the repetitive clicking and dragging required in no-code tools and use macros instead. October 30 1-2:30pm EDT	Better (Prompt) Engineering: Leveraging ChatGPT to get started with SAS Coding Learning a new coding language can be daunting. But, with your personal research assistant, ChatGPT, it doesn't have to be. In this session, we'll meet you where you're at as a coder. Perhaps you know R or Python well and want to write SAS code. Or perhaps you're truly getting started with SAS coding. Either way, learn how we can leverage large language models to write the first round of code for us. November 6 1-3:00pm EST	The Basics: Semi-colons, Libnames, and the Data Step This workshop focuses on the basic concepts of SAS programming. We'll use SAS Studio to write a basic program and learn the SAS syntax rules. We'll also learn how to use libraries to access data and write data to a particular location. November 13 1-3:00pm EST	Data Step Basics: Creating New Columns Often the data we have is not sufficient for reporting or analysis. Learn how to create new columns from existing data using assignment statements.	Registration closes one business day before the course begins.
November 20 1-3:00pm EST	Transforming and Summarizing Data in SAS We may need to summarize the data we are given. Learn how to accumulate totals using the data step and SAS functions. SAS Certification Mini Courses

Prove your analytics skills to employers with a SAS certification! We'll dive into ten SAS certification exams over the course of five weeks. Each session will provide an overview of free certification prep materials available in both the SAS Educator Portal and the SAS Skill Builder for Students, including comprehensive course materials and a practice exam.
