Dear Readers,

At SAS Global Forum 2009, we’ll be using new ways to communicate with attendees and share the conference experience with those who aren’t able to attend:

  • The SAS Global Forum blog will feature news, interviews and videos.
  • Follow the action on Twitter. If you’re “tweeting” about SAS Global Forum, use the hashtag #SGF09 somewhere in your message. Using this hashtag makes it easier to follow the conversation throughout and after the conference by searching for or subscribing to #SGF09.
  • Visit sasCommunity.org for hot topics and discussions from the user community and to subscribe to features such as the “Tip of the Day.”
  • Conference attendees can connect using CrowdVine. Find out who else will be there, share your interests and even set up onsite meetings.
Confused about Twitter, Facebook, blogs or other Web 2.0 topics? SAS Social Media Manager Dave Thomas will be leading some “Social Media 101” Birds-of-a-Feather sessions, so keep your eyes open for details.

P.S. Here’s a fun statistics comic that I found courtesy of Twitter @jamesdickey.
