Dear Readers,

In the past few months, I’ve talked a lot about social media and particularly Twitter. I bring it up again today because Twitter is one of the many Web 2.0 environments where we will talking about SAS Global Forum 2009.

In Twitter, it’s sometimes difficult to see the entire conversation taking place about a subject or event. Hashtags let you group similar Tweets (the term used to describe each 140-character message). The SAS Global Forum hashtag will be #SGF09. We'll all be talking about the same thing when you end your Tweet with #SGF09.

You can search on other topics: Try #followfriday. It’s a list of recommended Twitterers.
