SAS® Tech Report SAS
October 2009 support.sas.com  |  subscribe  |  unsubscribe

Dear Readers,

We’ve recently released a few updates that I believe are important. The most recent is a SAS 9.2 overview. This information will help you:

  • Answer - Should we upgrade?
  • Learn - What is new to SAS 9.2?
  • Find - How do I install, configure and migrate to SAS 9.2?

I also think you’ll want to bookmark these pages:

  • A–Z Product Pages: You’ll find a compilation of all product-related training, news, usage notes and more.
  • New Product Specific Release Numbers: Beginning with SAS 9.2, each unique SAS product is assigned a product release number.
  • Important Changes to Hot Fixes: Beginning with SAS 9.2 (TS2M0), new installer technology and an updated naming convention have been introduced for hot fix downloads.
  • Maintenance for SAS 9.2 Deployments: Look for the self-service request form and think green - choose electronic delivery. (If you use an existing SAS 9.2 Software Depot, you’ll download only the updated files.)

And, there’s tons of other great information waiting right here.
