Dear Readers,
The 2008 SASware Ballot is now available on the Web. Voting started Nov. 1 and runs through Jan. 4, 2008. This is an annual software survey that consists of suggestions submitted by SAS customers throughout the year. This is your opportunity to vote for new features you would like to see added to our software.

The survey is provided as a Web form to allow you to simply click on the items you want to vote for. Direct links to each part of the Ballot are provided if you prefer to vote for specific areas within SAS. There is no limit to the number of items you may vote on.

Don't forget, your vote must be received at SAS by Jan, 4, 2008 in order to be counted. Fill out the 2008 SASware Ballot today!

SAS Unveils a Central Resource for License Assistance
SAS now offers a license assistance page that compiles the basics of updating licenses as well as information about how to handle special situations that commonly affect SAS customers.

Announcing Electronic Software Delivery
With SAS® 9.2, SAS is extending electronic software delivery (ESD) as the primary vehicle for our customers to receive software. Select SAS 9.1.3 solutions, as well as JMP® 7.x, are currently being delivered through ESD.

Product Documentation Gets Organized
With the newly redesigned Web site, you can now find an A-Z list of almost 90 SAS products and solutions. Select a product and you will see a list of all the documentation SAS provides for that product.

SAS® In-Database Processing
The SAS In-Database technology described in this white paper relates to a variety of environments, including grid, blade servers and event management containers. The focus here is on its application to database management systems.

Creating a Data Grid Like VB.NET
Tableeditor.tpl is a custom tagset that is created by the TEMPLATE procedure. The tableeditor tagset enables you to create HTML output with the same kind of functionality that you would get from Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET). You can easily export the output to Excel or other file types.
