R3 – Recognize, Recruit and Retain

SAS wishes to reaffirm our commitment to affirmative action as the major strategy for achieving equal opportunity. Affirmative outreach has proven to be an invaluable tool in creating an inclusive environment.

One of our greatest outreach tools is the R3 program. R3 is a summer student program that symbolizes our commitment to Recognize, Recruit and Retain women and minorities in various professional arenas.

R3 students partner with management to work on challenging projects, and gain real world experience. This professional experience incorporated with the student’s education will enhance abilities, which in turn, creates opportunities when entering the workforce. Students work with mentors and take part in professional training sessions that provide the knowledge and foundation needed to successfully perform in a global corporate culture.
