We’re excited to share the amazing things we do at SAS with prospective employees. Through our diversity outreach, we’re ready to connect and engage with students and professionals of all backgrounds through networking events, career fairs, workshops and conferences.
Diversity in Statistics
SAS partners with the American Statistical Association (ASA) Committee on Minorities in Statistics to increase diversity in the field of statistics by participating in StatFest and the Joint Statistical Meeting Diversity Mentoring Program. These programs are designed to share unique career opportunities in statistics with historically underrepresented communities.
R3 Internship Program
A focus on inclusivity prompted SAS more than a decade ago to create the R3 student program. Designed to provide valuable work experience to students who are traditionally underrepresented in the STEM-related tech fields, the goal of R3 is to “recognize, recruit and retain” talent who infuse diverse ideas into our culture.
SAS employees volunteer time and resources to several fairs, workshops, conferences and networking events to provide job seekers with a better understanding of what a STEM career looks like at SAS. Check out our opportunities for internships and early career positions.

The R3 program was a great opportunity to be mentored outside of my department, and network with students with diverse experiences. I was able to develop a perspective on how different parts of SAS bring value and come together to form a big picture.
