Muskaan is an employee-driven Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of SRDI, dedicated to making a meaningful impact on society. Education: Empowering the Future
Education is one of the core pillars of our CSR initiatives, and we are committed to making a tangible impact in the lives of underprivileged children. Through Muskaan, we have actively undertaken several projects in collaboration with educational institutions and NGOs to provide quality learning opportunities.
- Expanding School Infrastructure: Muskaan has made significant investments to transform Sumati Balwan School. A new school building has been constructed, featuring eight modern classrooms, a spacious hall that now houses a state-of-the-art computer lab, and a covered rooftop area ideal for hosting school events and functions. We have also procured a new school van and a 17-seater school bus to ensure safe transportation for our students. Furthermore, we provide financial support for the establishment of a robust school ground, paving the way for sports and recreational activities. We fully sponsor the annual expenses of two deserving girls, exemplifying our commitment to empowering female education. Our contributions have helped schools increase student intake, providing over 700 underprivileged children with access to quality education.
- Improving Literacy: Our reading intervention program has benefited more than 4,000 students, significantly enhancing their reading and comprehension skills.
- Empowering Visually Impaired Students: We have sponsored the Swalekhan App, a transformative initiative from Niwant Andh Mukta Vikasalay NGO. This is India’s only app that enables visually impaired individuals to learn typing in regional languages and take school examinations without the need for scribes.
- Investing in Skill-Based Learning: By developing vocational training infrastructure, we equip students with practical skills, improving their career opportunities. This initiative fosters inclusivity in education, allowing students with visual impairments to overcome challenges and achieve academic success.
Additionally, our volunteers actively participate in mentorship programs, career guidance sessions, and digital literacy workshops, with not only above NGOs but also others like Door Step School and Kamayani Prashikshan And Sanshodhan Society, ensuring students receive the necessary resources, skills, and guidance to succeed in a rapidly evolving world.
Environment: Building a Greener Future
At Muskaan, we are committed to protecting and preserving the environment through meaningful projects that promote sustainability and awareness.
As part of our efforts to enhance green cover, we have undertaken tree plantation drives in various locations, contributing to cleaner air and a healthier ecosystem. Additionally, on World Environment Day, we distribute saplings and plants to encourage individuals and communities to actively participate in afforestation and environmental conservation.
To further promote sustainable living, we organize an Eco Fair, providing a platform for NGOs engaged in sustainability practices to showcase eco-friendly products and merchandise. This initiative not only spreads awareness about sustainable alternatives but also supports marginalized communities by creating income opportunities through their eco-conscious products.
Beyond these projects, we continue to advocate for renewable energy, water conservation, and environmental education in schools and communities. Through strategic partnerships with environmental organizations, Muskaan remains dedicated to fostering a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
Health: Promoting Well-Being and Saving Lives
At Muskaan, we believe that good health is the foundation of a thriving society. One of our key initiatives is organizing blood donation drives, encouraging employees and communities to contribute towards saving lives. These drives, conducted in collaboration with healthcare institutions, have helped bridge the gap in blood supply for patients in need, ensuring timely medical assistance.
In addition to blood donation, we host medical camps providing essential health check-ups, vaccinations, and consultations for underprivileged communities. Our hygiene awareness campaigns educate individuals on preventive healthcare, promoting sanitation and disease prevention.
We also work towards improving nutrition and well-being by organizing food donation drives and meal distribution programs, ensuring that vulnerable communities receive nutritious meals. Through these initiatives, Muskaan continues to make healthcare more accessible while fostering a healthier and more compassionate society.

We also have several Employee Inclusion Groups (EIGs).
