SAS and Singapore Polytechnic further Business Analytics educational opportunitiesSAS to provide academic scholarships; students to receive training in SAS solutionsSingapore (Jan. 26, 2012) – SAS, the leader in Business Analytics, today announced that Singapore Polytechnic (SP) students enrolled in the School of Digital Media and Infocomm Technology (DMIT) will receive specialized and hands-on training in Business Analytics as part of an academic collaboration agreement between SAS and SP. Students from three relevant diploma courses—Business Information Technology, Information Technology and Infocomm Security Management will be taught the fundamentals of Business Analytics and Business Intelligence. Students will also receive training in SAS® Analytics and SAS Business Intelligence software. Students will learn to manage, integrate and analyze data to facilitate quick and accurate decision making. In addition, a SAS-SP scholarship will be awarded to deserving diploma students in the respective courses. The scholarship recipients will also be offered internships with either SAS or its partners to provide them with opportunities to take their knowledge in Business Analytics to the workplace.
