Dr. Thomas Keil

Thomas Keil is an enthusiast about Big Data, Analytics, and new technologies in IT and information management. His broad knowledge encompasses core concepts such as data governance, data management, in-memory analytics, visual analytics, and Hadoop.
He has a wide range of experience in all aspects of B2B marketing, including content marketing, direct marketing, public relations, media, online, event, branding, pre-sales, and across strategic, tactical, and operational issues.
He has international experience across Europe, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Thomas’ specialties are developing concepts, and then putting them into work.
Besides his work for SAS in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, he has also served as a board member of the working group Big Data BITKOM, and is regularly invited to Big Data workshops. Thomas joined SAS in 2011, having worked for eight years for the software vendor zetVisions, most recently as Head of Marketing and Head of Channel Sales.
