Digital Marketing for FS Summit 2022 – Contest giveaway
([Apple] is not a participant in or sponsor of this promotion.)How to Enter: The contest starts June 8th (the “Contest Start Date”) and ends June 9th, 2022 (the “Contest Close Date”). The contest is sponsored by SAS Institute (Canada) Inc. (“SAS Canada”). There are two ways to enter: (1) Register in our registration page online at sas.com/ca/DMFS2022; and, (2) Business card entry (NO PURCHASE NECESSARY) – provide our SAS team in booth #14 a business card with your name, e-mail address, telephone number and the name of your employer. E-mail entries will not be accepted and post entries must be received by SAS Canada before the Contest Close Date). Entries are limited to one (1) entry per person.
Eligibility:
This contest is open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older; except for employees or representatives of SAS Canada, its affiliates, and any persons with whom they are domiciled. In addition, individuals, such as, but not limited to, certain government employees, who are prohibited by the terms of their employment or applicable law from participating in this promotion, are not eligible.
The Prize
: There are 2 pairs of Apple Airpods to be won. The approximate value of each prize is $189 USD. SAS Canada reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute any prizes for prizes of equal or greater value should the prizes described become unavailable due to circumstances beyond its control. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not refundable or transferable. Prizes are not redeemable for cash value. No prize substitutions. SAS Canada, its affiliates, and its advertising and promotional agencies involved in this contest assume no liability for injury or death related to the acceptance of this prize. SAS Canada, its affiliates, and its advertising and promotional agencies involved in this contest are not responsible for any loss, theft, or misuse of the prize.
Odds of Winning:
The chance of winning a prize in this contest is dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received by the Contest Closing Date.
The Draw: A random draw for each prize will be held on June 10th in Toronto and the winners will be contacted by telephone or e-mail no later than June 17th. The prizes will be awarded to the first 2 people whose entry is drawn and who is able to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical, electronic or otherwise. If a selected entrant cannot answer, or incorrectly answers, the skill-testing question, fails to respond to the notification within forty-eight (48) hours of the first attempt at contact by SAS Canada, or if SAS Canada is otherwise unable to contact the selected entrant within such time, or otherwise does not meet any of the contest eligibility requirements, or satisfy any other contest conditions, that entry will be disqualified and another entry may be selected. The process will continue until all winners have been successfully selected. Each entrant is eligible for only one price. Winner’s names will not be re-entered for subsequent draws. Each selected entrant may be required to sign a standard declaration and release form confirming compliance with the contest rules, acceptance of the prize as awarded and releasing SAS Canada from all liability. The prizes will be distributed to the winners within 6 to 8 weeks from the Contest Closing Date. SAS Canada will not be responsible for any entries or prizes that may be lost, stolen or misdirected.Privacy: By entering this contest, you consent to SAS Canada, its parent, affiliates and agents storing, in Canada or the United States, and using the personal information submitted with your entry for the purpose of administering this contest including the announcement of winners. By accepting a prize, each winner grants to SAS Canada the right to the use of his or her name, likeness or photograph without compensation in any publicity or for promotional purposes carried out by SAS Canada. You agree that SAS Canada, and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, and representatives ("released parties") will have no liability whatsoever for, and will be released and held harmless by entrant for any claims, liabilities, or causes of action of any kind or nature for any injury, loss or damages of any kind including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages to persons, including without limitation disability or death, and damage to property, due in whole or in part, arising directly or indirectly, now or in the future from the delivery, acceptance, use or misuse of the prize, or participation in this contest and/or any related activity whether or not arising from the negligence of one or more of the released parties. Without limiting the foregoing, the prize and everything on the contest web site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions may not allow the limitations or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages or exclusion of implied warranties.
