Daniele Cazzari is a Senior Manager and innovation leader at SAS, with more than 20 years of experience in IoT and AI architecture across industries including manufacturing, automotive, and insurance. His work focuses on transforming emerging technologies into practical, scalable solutions that help organizations unlock value from their data and operational systems.

Throughout his career, Daniele has led several initiatives that have significantly advanced SAS’s IoT and AI capabilities. His contributions include the development of the SAS Event Stream Processing AI low-code pipeline, ONNX integration, and a patented computer vision edge architecture, as well as cloud marketplace deployments. Most recently, he ideated and led the launch of the SAS Retrieval Agent Manager, a patent-pending agentic AI platform that combines Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with Model Context Protocol (MCP)-based retrieval orchestration. 

Daniele is particularly passionate about bridging the gap between advanced AI technologies and real-world operational impact. He works closely with organizations to help them operationalize AI-driven intelligent systems and connected technologies that improve safety, efficiency, and decision-making at scale.

The question that increasingly drives his work is: how can organizations move from isolated AI models to truly agentic systems—systems that can autonomously discover knowledge, reason over enterprise data, and act intelligently within operational workflows? As agentic AI, edge computing, and real-time analytics continue to converge, the opportunity is not just to automate tasks, but to build adaptive systems that collaborate with humans and continuously learn from the environments in which they operate.
