In today's rapidly evolving and highly competitive global landscape, the value of establishing a strong talent connection between tertiary education institutions and industry cannot be overstated. The traditional approach to education, where students acquire knowledge in a classroom setting and then apply it to real-world scenarios, is no longer sufficient to meet the dynamic demands of the job market. Instead, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship between academia and industry has become imperative to bridge the gap between theory and practice, and to equip graduates with the skills and expertise needed to thrive in their careers.

The SAS Talent Connection Program celebrates those that establish and maintain enduring, mutually beneficial workforce development bridges.

Applicants/nominees must be based in EMEA and faculty members teaching at a SAS Global Academic Program-affiliated tertiary institution
Demonstrated ongoing active Industry engagement
SAS Specialization
SAS Certification
Industry-directed Research
Internship-Thesis collaboration
SAS Educator credential

SAS Talent Connection Employer

Applicants/nominees must be EMEA based and employed at an organisation that applies SAS technology
Facilitate effective graduation-to-career transition
Demonstrated ongoing active University engagement
Supporting SAS Specialization
Supporting SAS Certification
Commissioning Academic Research
Thesis-Internship collaboration

Awardees will receive:

A digital badge and plaque to recognize SAS’ endorsement of their Talent Connection achievements.

Opportunity to present their industry-leading work at a local SAS event.

Awardee responsibilities include attending the award ceremony at a local event | Participating in an award interview detailing their award-winning activities | Presenting their Talent Connection Thought-Leadership at a SAS Event and SAS Communities.
