Dr. Wolff has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare and life sciences industries as a scientist and analyst working in the US and Europe. Mark joined SAS in 2005 and is an Advisory Industry Consultant and Chief Health Analytics Strategist for the SAS Global IoT Division. He also holds an academic appointment as a Visiting Fellow at the University of Miami Institute for Data Science and Computing. Mark is recognized as an accomplished practitioner and thought leader in the development and application of advanced and predictive analytics to complex problems in healthcare and the life sciences. His current focus is on the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence approaches to the analysis of streaming sensor/IoT telemetry and unstructured data in support of improving health outcomes, patient safety and the design of intelligent, decision support systems for clinical development, care delivery and digital health initiatives.
