Using SAS® Web Report Studio for Thin-Client Reporting

This course teaches you how to create, modify, and interact with reports using SAS Web Report Studio. Little or no experience in other reporting tools or database technology is required. The course requires the SAS Intelligence Platform.

Learn how to interact with SAS Web Report Studio to:

  • open existing reports
  • create new reports
  • schedule reports
  • include SAS Stored Processes in a report
  • open reports in the SAS Information Delivery Portal.

Accessing Information Using the SAS® Information Delivery Portal

This course focuses on using the SAS Information Delivery Portal to view content developed in the SAS Business Intelligence environment. This course requires the SAS Intelligence Platform.

  • change preferences in the portal to customize your view
  • add and arrange pages in your portal view
  • add and organize content in pages

Accessing SAS® from Microsoft Office Applications

This course provides an overview of SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office and shows how it can be used to access SAS information directly from Microsoft Office applications. This course requires the SAS Intelligence Platform.

Learn how to:
access and filter existing SAS data
use SAS data sources in PivotTables
create customized bar charts and summary tables
use stored processes, SAS tasks, and wizards to create reports
create spreadsheets, documents, and slides from SAS output.

Who should attend: Microsoft Office users who want to work with SAS data to create reports and perform analyses

Introduction to SAS® Business Intelligence Applications for Reporting and Analysis

This course provides a hands-on overview of the SAS®9 Intelligence Platform and the specific applications that are used to create reports and analyses using SAS desktop and Web applications. It does not cover SAS Data Integration Studio, SAS OLAP Cube Studio, and the SAS Information Delivery Portal.

Learn how to:
access data in Microsoft Excel and create ports and analyses in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint using the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office
build reports from a Web browser
access data, create reports and analyses, and turn those results into stored processes using SAS Enterprise Guide
build business views of enterprise data
understand the basics of the system administrator functions using SAS Management Console.
