Learning Needs Assessment
Value Proposition
A learning needs assessment will establish the gap between the required competencies of a job role and the existing skills of your employees.
Service Description
A learning needs assessment is undertaken by experienced SAS education specialists. These specialists are trained in assessing learning needs; designing training programmes and they also have an in-depth knowledge of SAS and its application in a commercial context.
The end result is a detailed plan documenting personalised education paths and skills matrices for use prior to embarking on a new project or for the development of staff competencies within their existing roles.
Key Benefits
REDUCED RISK
A learning needs assessment identifies any potential problems your team may encounter when involved in on-going work or a new project. The assessment will then make recommendations to reduce that risk.
EFFECTIVE USE OF EDUCATION BUDGET
A learning needs assessment makes sure that you arrange the most suitable training at the right time.
A SKILLED WORKFORCE
A learning needs assessment will make sure your staff are appropriately skilled and able to complete their tasks.
Service Activities
A learning needs assessment is made up of three research and design phases; followed by a fourth (delivery) phase.
- Assessment. At an initial meeting our consultants and education experts explain the processes involved and benefits to be gained. We then design an evaluation project in line with your business, organisational and project requirements.
- Requirements. Depending on the Assessment, individual learners may be interviewed and assessed. The results of these interviews are collated into a detailed report.
- Design. As a result of this report, you may decide to proceed to the recommendation of a final training and evaluation plan.
- Deployment and Review. The requested training is delivered and evaluated.
