Audience
This course is designed for anyone who wants a comprehensive, hands-on
overview of the SAS business intelligence and data integration
applications. The course requires the SAS Intelligence Platform.
Course Description
This course provides a hands-on overview of the features and
functionality available in the applications of the SAS Intelligence
Platform. You work with the SAS Management Console, SAS Data Integration
Studio, SAS OLAP Cube Studio, and SAS Information Map Studio to build a
data mart. The information in the data mart is analyzed and reported on
using SAS Enterprise Guide, the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office, SAS Web
Report Studio, and the SAS Information Delivery Portal.
Prerequisites
No SAS experience or programming experience is required although you
should
- have some computer experience. Specifically, you should be able to
log on and off a computer and use a keyboard or mouse.
- have some experience using Microsoft Office applications.
Specifically, you should be able to open and save documents, use the
menus and toolbars to accomplish tasks, and navigate Word documents,
PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets.
- know how to use a Web browser to access information.
