Description
This course defines SAS OLAP cubes and explores their characteristics. This course also demonstrates how to create and exploit SAS OLAP cubes using a variety of SAS products, including SAS OLAP Cube Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Information Delivery Portal, SAS Web OLAP Viewer for JAVA, and Microsoft Excel with the SAS OLAP Data Provider.
Prerequisite Skills
Familiarity with SAS programming and table structures is helpful but not required. You can gain SAS knowledge by completing the SAS Programming I: Essentials course. Familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL) or Multidimensional eXpressions (MDX) is also helpful, but not required.
