Is this program right for me?

This program is ideal for those who want to build on their basic programming knowledge by learning how to gather and analyze big data in SAS.

What are the prerequisites?

To enroll in the program, you need at least six months of programming experience in SAS or another programming language. If you're just getting started or need to brush up on your SAS programming skills, the SAS Programming for Data Science Fast Track will give you a good foundation.

What exams do I pass to receive the credential?

What’s included with the self-paced e-learning program annual license?

SAS Certified Big Data Professional self-paced e-learning program includes 150 e-Learning hours and 100 Virtual Lab hours:

  • Module 1 – Big Data Preparation, Statistics and Visual Exploration: 76 e-Learning hours + 50 Virtual Lab hours.
  • Module 2 – Big Data Programming and Loading: 74 e-Learning hours + 50 Virtual Lab hours.

Please note that the self-paced e-learning program requires you to purchase certification exams and practice exams separately.

License duration for the program: 365 days

Are practice exams available?

Yes! Students in the self-paced program can purchase practice exams from Pearson Vue.

How do I access SAS software?

Access to SAS software is included with the self-paced program. Students can purchase additional lab time in 15-hour increments, if needed.

How long will it take to complete the program?
