Simply log in to the cloud and spin up your environment. The Quick Start menu will let you dive headfirst into your development environment (IDE) so you can start coding immediately. To modify any settings (compute, storage or IDE preference), simply return to the home screen.

  • SAS Viya Workbench is highly scalable, letting you choose the size of your environment based on the size of your data and the level of analytics you'll be performing. Easily change the number of cores, RAM and storage size quickly without IT admin support.

  • SAS Viya Workbench is built on a common compute engine that executes the underlying analytics from both SAS® 9 and SAS Viya procedures.

  • With SAS Viya Workbench, you can run the latest Python API featuring scikit-learn-inspired syntax. The package lets you switch easily from running scikit-learn to high-performance SAS analytics.
