Nihan Yami is a Data Scientist at SAS, where she develops predictive models and AI-driven solutions to support data-driven decision-making in revenue operations. Operating at the forefront of the RevOps movement, Nihan specializes in transforming complex datasets into streamlined, automated frameworks that enhance business efficiency and predictable growth.
With a career at SAS that has evolved through roles as a Solutions Architect and System Engineer, Nihan possesses a comprehensive understanding of the entire data lifecycle. She is a vocal proponent of the “Model Factory” concept, advocating for a shift from manual, isolated experiments to industrial-scale MLOps. This approach ensures that machine learning models are not just technically sound, but are integrated seamlessly into the enterprise’s operational fabric.
Nihan's academic and technical foundation is rigorous. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Boğaziçi University and is a SAS® Certified Professional in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, as well as an AWS Solutions Architect Associate. This combination of management insight and deep engineering expertise allows her to navigate the complexities of digital transformation for global clients.
Beyond the current landscape of classical AI, Nihan is deeply invested in the next frontier of computation. Her interests include quantum technologies, particularly Quantum AI, exploring how quantum computing can potentially revolutionize machine learning efficiency and solve problems previously considered intractable.
