Alina Luchian
Education and Academic Territory Leader for Southeast Europe

Alina Luchian is an expert in consulting, education services, sales and marketing, in the IT field, with over 21 years of experience in the industry, and has an entrepreneurial spirit, proven in all the roles and positions she has held to date.

He held senior positions for over 15 years in one of the largest leading companies in the software, services and consulting industry, IBM, and currently SAS Institute. Other execution functions included sales consulting, business consulting, sales, and marketing.

She is a graduate of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and holds an INSEAD Master in 2008 in the field of Business Administration. She graduated from IBM Global Business School in 2005, and IBM Top Gun in 2006. She is also a Professional Coach with a degree from Barret Values in 2018. Since 2024, Alina Luchian is Ph.D. student at Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics, major area of research being AI and Data Science.

Among the distinctions obtained are diplomas for outstanding results offered by IBM and SAS in 2006, 2009, 2020, 2021 and 2022, 2023 distinctions offered by different executives of the international corporations.

Currently she occupies the position of Academic and Education Territory Lead Southeast Europe at SAS Institute, covering over 14 countries, an internationally recognized company as a world leader in the creation of software for artificial intelligence and machine learning. At the same time, Alina is a Ph.D. student, having AI as a research thesis and she is also lecturer at Bucharest University of Economic Studies.
