Dr. Josefin Rosén is a Principal Trustworthy AI Specialist within SAS’s Data and AI Ethics Practice, where she advises global businesses and governments on AI governance, human-centered AI, and responsible adoption.
With more than 20 years of experience in AI, advanced analytics, and data-driven innovation, her work focuses on helping organizations transform AI ambition into trustworthy, real-world impact. She works at the intersection of technology, governance, and human outcomes, supporting leaders as they navigate the opportunities and challenges of AI adoption while balancing innovation, accountability, and regulatory requirements.
Josefin is a recognized thought leader in AI governance and regularly speaks on topics including trustworthy AI, governance by design, responsible innovation, AI risk management, and the evolving regulatory landscape. She helps organizations move beyond high-level principles and develop practical approaches to building transparency, fairness, and accountability into AI systems.
In addition to her role at SAS, she serves as SAS’s representative and expert in the EU AI Act Advisory Forum, contributing to discussions on the implementation of Europe’s emerging AI governance framework.
Before her current role, she led SAS’s Nordic AI practice. She has been recognized as one of Sweden’s most influential voices in AI and frequently contributes to media, industry forums, and policy discussions on the future of trustworthy AI.
She holds a Ph.D. in Chemometrics from Uppsala University’s Faculty of Pharmacy, Sweden.
