SAS again among the top employers in Austria

Innovative workplace concept ensures satisfied employees

SAS, a leading analytics provider, is once again demonstrating its qualities as an employer. In the current ranking "Austria's Best Employer 2019" of the Great Place to Work Institute, the company ranks ninth in the category of companies with up to 49 employees. The assessment is based on how employees rate their employer for criteria such as appreciation for their work, leadership, compensation, or development opportunities. For years, SAS has been among the top ranked, nationally and internationally.

In terms of workplace culture, SAS Austria once again increased its share last year by moving to the attractive "green Prater district" - the neighborhood of two. The special feature: the new office was designed in the spirit of workplace 4.0, following the principle of activity-based working. With openness and versatile distribution options, the premises ensure a flexible work environment that promotes creative and networked work.

"SAS Austria in 9th place - that makes us immensely proud", commented Marlies Bürkel, Director of Human Resources at SAS DACH, on the positive result of the competition. "The business location Austria needs innovative companies. And the current placement shows us that the bill works: innovative environment equals productive employees - and in the end satisfied customers. "

"New offices alone are not enough to create better working conditions, but a completely new workplace concept that promotes innovation already works," explains Hermann Riemann, Finance and Human Resources Manager at SAS Austria. "We receive positive feedback from our employees on the new location and are all the more pleased that this is also reflected in this year's placement."
