Great Place to Work: SAS ranks second among Swiss employers

SAS, one of the leading analytics providers, maintains its position as a top employer in Switzerland: In the current ranking "Best Employer of Switzerland 2019" of the Great Place to Work Institute, the Swiss national company of the US-American group comes in 2nd place in the category 20 to 49 employees - once again improving on the bronze placement last year.

For the Great Place to Work ranking, the employees of the participating companies are interviewed directly to the satisfaction of their employer. In addition to compensation, fringe benefits or creative opportunities for development, the decisive criteria are above all soft factors such as appreciation, team spirit and fairness.

"2nd place - that's great," says Annette Green, vice president of DACH at SAS, about the result. "I have experienced the positive spirit of SAS for almost 30 years in the US - and I am thrilled that it is also living here. Because economic success in the competitive IT market and in the environment of dynamic trend technologies such as artificial intelligence can only be achieved with motivated, qualified employees - and we have them! "

"We are very proud that SAS has consistently been voted the most popular employer - and has even been able to improve its position this year," says Marlies Bürkel, Director of Human Resources at SAS DACH. "The current ranking once again confirms that our maxim is working: to challenge and promote talent as best as possible, to have a cooperative exchange and to have a say - beyond the four walls of the office."
