Train the Trainer
Value Proposition
Having a strong training team in place will enable them to fully support the user community in their adoption of the enterprise wide platform being implemented. In turn, by maximising an individual's performance and productivity, they will be able to fully exploit the value of this platform.
Service Description
NOTE: this service is only offered as part of an adoption programme. It is not available to individuals.
Our approach follows our own train-the-trainer method which is accredited and audited by the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) and which has contributed to the award of the LPI Gold Accreditation for the eighth year running.
In summary the method consists of:
1. A train-the-trainer course and completion of two practical (marked) exercises
2. A part teach with the course leader
3. A follow up assessment on a solo delivery after successful completion of the first teach
4. Feedback and coaching sessions
5. Formal sign off on completion of the train-the-trainer programme
6. Continual development supported by peer to peer review supported by structured observation forms
7. If applicable completion of the related certification examination
Service Deliverables
- An audit trail of the trainer's competencies and knowledge in agreed topics
- Trainers who are identified as competent in training delivery in relation to the solution implemented

- Using a structured train-the-trainer approach, will enable individual trainers to teach the solution to the best of their ability.
- By developing a training programme of tailored events and workshops, team members will be able to set the use of SAS in the context of their daily activities raising their effectiveness and the contribution they can make.
