Currently, Predictive Fleet Analytics is able to predict a vessel’s destination with 70% accuracy. The estimated time of berth is accurate within one to two hours; and the estimated time of arrival within a 10-hour window. The latter is 7 times more accurate than what is reported in the AIS transmission data. The entire solution is implemented on commercial cloud using SAS Viya and displays the data on a user-friendly interface. In other words, no knowledge of coding or data science is required to use the insights.

Module 1 - Monitor the Voice of the Citizen
This module analyses citizens’ sentiment by monitoring all possible channels of social media, news feeds, blogs, etc. It then uses linguistic rules and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to read, understand and categorize the specific topics and sentiment defined by your organization. The output of this module is a barometer per member state and/or stakeholder group, and their concerns and opinions on a specific topic.
With this output, you can then create a more effective and targeted communication strategy that informs citizens correctly, addresses their concerns and gets them engaged.
The biggest differentiator with other approaches is that instead of reporting on general topic sentiment, we identify sub-categories and topics. This way, we make sure you get a full understanding of what citizens are thinking around a specific topic.
As EU organization, you have a constant finger on the pulse of your citizens, understand what matters most and you are able to take action from these insights.
Module 2 - Understanding citizens’ journeys & surveys
This module is targeted at persons who show an interest in topics related to your institution. They have a genuine interest to constructively participate in the debate.
This module will provide you with an overview of the different channels these citizens use to access information and how they interact with your on-line channels. It shows where people get stuck in your survey, which questions they like, what slippery pages you have on your website and what content is relevant for successful information. You will have insight into when people are triggered to leave comments as well as where and why engaged people drop out of conversations. The latter is important to keep those “supporters” engaged.
With this module, you are able to make sure that the citizen’s experience they get from EU is meeting the experience standards citizens are used to get in the private sector.
Module 3 - Citizens experience personalization
The last module builds on engaged citizens. It enables you to improve their experience when they interact with your institution’s interaction channels. The goal is to create a more interactional and bi-directional communication, instead of one-way communication. Citizens will experience tailored messaging based on their interests. Leading to a better and positive image of the EU.
