A brand new series: a quarterly social media training for you – for those who are interested in building their presence on social media.
We will help you to create/update your profile and populate it in the best way so that it serves you how you desire. Having a profile on social media brings a good possibility to meet with your peers in the environment which can bring you closer to the topics of your interests.
The training will be led by our experienced colleague David Fisher and every 4 sessions within a year will be at the beginning of the quarters, we will start on January 25th at 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. CET with the first one. THE FIRST TOPIC TO EXPLORE
On December 9, 2022, we will talk at Warsaw University of Technology about the migration of SAS9 to SAS Viya. We will look at this topic from different angles and try to find answers to the following questions together with educators who have first-hand experience:
• What is the main difference between SAS9 and SASViya?
• Why should we consider migrating to SAS Viya?
• When is the best time?
• What is SAS Viya for learners?
• What are the advantages of using Viya for teaching, and are there any disadvantages?
MEET OUR SPEAKERS
Mgr. Agnieszka Kucharska
Faculty of Management
Agnieszka Kucharska is a research assistant and academic teacher at the Faculty of Management at Warsaw University of Technology. Her research examines the use of Business Intelligence and Big Data in the public sector. She is primarily interested in visual analytics, data-viz, and flow visualization. She teaches based on an approach focused on creating value, modeling structures and flows. In her work, she supports goal definition, planning, analysis, and reporting.
Bartosz Jabłoński, PhD
Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science
Bartosz Jabłoński is a mathematician working and "playing" with data. He is a seasoned SAS user with experience in education, telecommunication, clinical trials and banking. Bartosz is an author and developer of the SAS Packages Framework. As active learner and hobbyist teacher, he leads SAS classes and courses at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science at Warsaw University of Technology. During his free time, he coordinates meet-ups of Polish SAS Users Group (#PolSUG) and holds "third dan" in sasensei (www.sasensei.com). To turn his internal problem solver mode on just say, "you probably can't do something like this in SAS...".
Dr. Jürgen Kaselowsky
Director, SAS Global Academic Programs, EMEA
Jürgen Kaselowsky studied biology at the University of Heidelberg. Since 2004 he has been working closely with SAS Academic customers, firstly in Germany, later managed North EMEA academic programs, starting July 2022 he leads SAS EMEA Academic Programs. For some time he has dedicated himself to the topic of "Data Science" and advises professors and students who deal with this field. He follows current developments in universities, but also in companies and in society.
