Yolandé Byrd 
Director, Chief Financial Officer and co-founder of FACTS Consulting, and expertise in helping organisations detect and prevent procurement fraud.

Over the last 22 years, Yolandé has conducted investigations and designed forensic solutions in a variety of industries around the world. She has worked with some of the biggest names in Government, Finance, Utilities, Insurance, Telecommunications, Media, Manufacturing, Retail and Mining.
As a Certified Fraud Examiner with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Accounting, Yolandé merges her expertise in data analysis, programming and financial systems to help organisations detect and prevent procurement fraud.
Yolandé also serves as a regular guest lecturer on forensics at the University of Pretoria and has also spoken at several international events, including the annual ACFE Africa Fraud Conference.

Assisting customers in tackling financial crime using NLP, ML and analytics since 1999. After focusing on sanctions screening, anti-money laundering, payment fraud and terrorist cell financing he is now working to address Continuous Controls monitoring including procure to pay, travel and entertainment, know your supplier and insider fraud modus operandi. He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan and a joint degree in linguistics, econometrics, and computing from the University of Montreal.
