Building on 10-years of working together, in 2010 SAS and Accenture extended its partnership to deploy next generation management science: business analytics that transform client organizations to deliver improved business outcomes faster.

The enhanced partnership created a virtual entity: The Accenture SAS Analytics Group. This virtual entity will jointly build, market, sell, deliver and manage predictive analytics software solutions and services.

The Accenture SAS Analytics Group will ensure clients receive and are able to apply the best insights from their information to improve their business outcomes. Software offerings will be platform-independent so they can run on any IT infrastructure assets that our clients already have installed.

In addition to offering the market-leading analytics software solutions SAS has developed, Accenture will embed its leading intellectual property (275+ patents and patents pending) into the next generation of SAS solutions. These co-developed, unique, asset-based solutions will target functional and industry leverage points to enable scalable growth.

The Accenture SAS Analytics group will continue to provide the descriptive analytical capabilities (reporting on and providing access to information within an enterprise) and it will specialize in mining the insights that predictive analytics provide so that companies can make informed decisions faster and accelerate high performance.
