- The Idea: Identify the most interesting AI and Machine Learning Use cases; Let the winning Startups develop their innovative products on SAS Analytics Platform and help them to capitalize innovation.
SAS Bulgaria Startup Challenge is an open call competition to:
- Scale Innovation with analytical expertise
- Utilize open source along with SAS VIYA Analytics Platform for innovative AI/ML driven use cases
- High-Speed Time to Value with multi-modal analytics development & deployment platform
- Scale go to market with business advisory and sales support
The Startup Challenge Committee: is formed to support the identified Startups.

Qualification Criteria
The startup idea should meet the following criteria:
- The idea must leverage solid Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning & AI features.
- It should be innovative, in the sense it should provide in an original idea, use case or application for specific business problem(s).
- It can leverage both SAS Analytics & Open Source Analytics tools, to be deployed on SAS analytical platform for end to end execution.
- It can include other 3rd party open source software components that are required for the solution to work.
- The solution should address a sizeable market segment to be able to scale and have significant business potential, both in commercial and public business domains.
- The solution should have a clear value proposition and justification for investing efforts, with minimum viable market research conducted.
