Data for Good
There are complex global problems facing society today – problems we know analytics can solve. Use the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as a guide to spark your curiosity. Select a Global Goal (choose from 1-16) you’re passionate about and develop a solution using analytics.
Evaluation criteria: An analytics prototype that advances one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. You and your team will be creating a potentially viable solution.

How the Hackathon works
Through the Hackathon, you will build the proof of concept (PoC), proof of value (PoV), minimum viable product (MVP) and your solution with the help of other hackers and experts using the power of SAS® and open source on Microsoft Azure.
Evaluation criteria: Each solution will be evaluated on the market potential, business value and technology creativity based on the Lean Canvas model.
The jury consists of venture capitalists from Huizen/Amsterdam, Stockholm, Singapore, São Paulo and San Francisco (locations for SAS Innovation Lab).
