About the Speaker
Mmule Ramothibe
Author of Silent Cries
Mmule Ramothibe is the author of Silent Cries, a tale of battles she fought when no one was watching. Mmule’s Silent Cries is more than that of her health ordeal which robbed her of a functional life for over eight years. It is a relatable narrative of many individuals crying silently, alone, in various corners. She owns and manages a health and wellness detox spa situated in the tranquil Midvaal surroundings, Henley on Klip. Reset Detox Center, a business inspired by Mmule!s own personal journey to self-healing, after undergoing three operations and being told by doctors that there was no cure for her then crumbling health condition – Interstitial Cystit. Mmule Ramothibe is a pioneer of the Nandikwa Dolls, a brand she developed not only to address a shortage of look-able ethnic dolls in Africa, but also affords her a platform to continue to pursue her philanthropic work in empowering young girls to love self, to be confident, resilient, to maintain their dignity and pride and most importantly to value and make use of education as they navigate through life challenges.
