The mission of the SAS Reach Program is to ensure that high school students feel prepared to put their best professional foot forward when applying to college and for employment opportunities.

This program is designed to demystify the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and expose students to limitless opportunities within the tech industry.

Through mentorship, e-learning opportunities, job shadowing and career readiness resources, we want to make the transition from student to professional a smooth one.

How long is this program?

This five-week long program runs July 2 – Aug. 1, 2024. Participants are required to be at SAS HQ (Cary, NC) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET.

Is this a paid opportunity?

Students selected for this program will receive a stipend.

What are the program criteria?

You are a rising senior in high school.
You are interested in pursuing additional education in a tech-related field (data science, computer science, etc.).
You are a potential first-generation college student.
You may need support and resources to pursue secondary education.
You have a reliable form of transportation and are available for the entire program, July 2 – Aug. 1, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

This program will begin on July 2 and end on Aug. 1. You will be required to come to SAS headquarters (100 SAS Campus Drive in Cary, NC) on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET.
