SAS Institute Australia, a leader in AI and Analytics has partnered with TAFE NSW's Institute of Applied Technology Digital (IATD) to offer a Work Integrated Learning course, micro-credential on Data Analytics Lifecycle that can be undertaken upon completion of the Data Analytics Pathway.
Attending a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course as a micro-credential offers key benefits, including practical experience in real-world environments, development of both technical and soft skills, industry exposure, and networking opportunities.
In this course explore the Advanced Analytics Lifecycle from Enterprise Skills, Problem Definition and Business Decisions through a real-world use case industry project. Once you have completed the Data Analytics Pathway, you can enrol in IAT-Digital’s work-integrated learning opportunity with SAS to gain real-world experience and connections to advance or start your career in data analytics.

- Week 4: Data Modelling and Machine Learning + optional online learning – SAS Model Studio
- Week 5: Data Governance and Ethics
- Week 6: Project Management and Communications optional online learning – SAS Model Manager
- Week 7: Building Advanced Dashboards for Data Projects optional online learning – SAS Visual Analytics Advanced
- Week 8: Final Project Presentations
Includes optional SAS Specialist Certification
Eligibility:
- You must be 15 years or older, live or work in NSW
- Not be enrolled in secondary education (home-schooled students are exempt)
- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder, or New Zealand citizen OR hold a partner visa where the sponsor is a humanitarian visa holder
