Session One: Canada’s new federal privacy Bill C-27 – What this could mean for the citizen experience

The global regulatory landscape is evolving to address growing concern and raised expectations around privacy. Canada is following this trend and has proposed a new bill that will have significant impact on organizations and individuals. Bill C-27, also known as the Digital Charter Implementation Act proposes a stronger and modernized private sector legal framework for privacy and artificial intelligence, which could change how citizens engage with services and expect their data to be handled.

In this session, we’ll discuss what you need to know about this proposed change to privacy legislation, the impacts on citizen experience and organizational accountability, and the tactical measures to take now – to get ahead of these changes and drive a better citizen experience today.
