Alyssa Farrell, Advisory Industry Marketing Manager, SAS    

Farrell leads industry marketing for the SAS Global Health and Life Sciences Practice. In this role, she focuses on the SAS solutions that help optimize health outcomes for individuals and their communities. She is actively engaged in analyst relations, market research and influencer marketing to stay on top of industry trends and align SAS capabilities to customer needs. Previously at SAS, she has supported the energy and public sector global teams. Before joining SAS in 2004, Farrell was a senior consultant in the Deloitte Public Sector Practice.


Greg Horne, Principal Global Consultant for Health Care, SAS

Horne joined SAS in 2012 and has worked and become familiar with health care systems in the United Kingdom, Europe, North America and Australia, developing a passion for creating health systems built on quality and patient outcomes. In his role, Horne works with health care strategy in a way that focuses on outcomes, cost, quality and other challenges that any modern health system faces. Horne is a thought leader in the future of health care and the introduction of patient-focused technology.


Natalia Summerville, Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics R&D, SAS

Summerville leads design, development and implementation of optimization applications for a variety of industries. She is also an adjunct professor at the Institute of Advanced Analytics and the Department of Industrial Engineering, both at North Carolina State University. She holds a PhD in operations research from NCSU and a PhD in industrial engineering from Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico.


Jon Lemon, Principal Industry Consultant, SAS

Since joining SAS in August 2007, Lemon’s primary focus has been working with federal, state and local government customers to understand organizational effectiveness and evaluate performance against stated objectives. He uses his experience to help customers implement industry-leading performance management, workforce analytics, costing and fraud prevention solutions through the integration of technology, processes, people and methodologies. Before joining SAS, Lemon was a budget director at the Department of Homeland Security, where he formulated, executed and managed over $4.5 billion of appropriated funds annually. He earned his MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.


James Case, Managing Director, KPMG

Case is a managing director in KPMG’s health care solutions practice with 14 years of experience in consulting at KPMG. In his career, he has worked with provider clients in developing strategy to be financially successful in the US regulatory environment. He is the country’s leading expert on all-payer rate setting for hospital providers and a leading authority in the subject of strategy and operations to reduce total cost of care. He has assisted clients in a variety of matters including hospital rate setting and methodology development, deployment of advanced analytical techniques to support clinical operations and long-term financial planning for changes in the health care market. Case is an associate professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health where he regularly lectures on the state of Maryland’s unique all-payer rate setting system. He is a graduate of the Master of Health Administration program at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
