PRMIA Vienna Chapter Meeting

Impact of Net ZERO & Climate risk on bank strategies and customers

February 16th 2023 (available on-demand)

Join our next PRMIA Vienna Chapter meeting where we together with David Carlin, the Climate Risk and TCFD program lead at United Nations (UNEP-FI) and our Austrian banking experts discuss how banks can balance the risks with the opportunities introduced by the Climate Change and make their business strategies fit for the new decarbonized world.

Increasing regulatory pressure, first Climate-related losses materializing, growing interest form stakeholders and attention to portfolio decarbonization & Net Zero are all pushing Climate Change to the forefront of Risk Management and Strategy teams. Banks are increasingly thinking how can they address all these challenges in the most efficient way, however at the same time this is becoming also an important opportunity for banks to tap into the new sustainable revenue markets and design together a more sustainable future.

Irrespective of their Climate approach maturity, adopting a flexible analytically and data driven approach from the start, will allow banks to gradually extend their capabilities from efficient compliance and risk management to support driving new revenues from the rapidly growing sustainability market.
