Charles Chase, Executive Industry Consultant, SAS

Charlie Chase is a thought leader and trusted adviser for delivering demand-driven solutions to improve SAS customers’ supply chain efficiencies. He has more than 20 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, and is an expert in demand forecasting and planning, market response modeling, econometrics and supply chain management. Prior to his current role, Chase led the strategic marketing activities in support of the launch of SAS® Forecast Server, which won the Trend-Setting Product of the Year award in 2005 from KMWorld magazine. Chase launched SAS for Demand-Driven Planning and Optimization in 2008, which is being used by over 100 large corporations globally.  


Christopher Houck, PhD, Partner, Core Compete

Chris Houck received his PhD from the department of industrial engineering at North Carolina State University with a dissertation on machine learning applied to manufacturing cell control. Since graduation, he has continued to innovate, holding four patents and working to apply advanced analytics and optimization to enterprise scale business problems. Houck previously worked as a Principal Analytical Consultant in retail and manufacturing at SAS, and with i2 Technologies leading their soft goods and apparel consulting teams.
