SAS Australia advances seven places in the BRW Best Places to Work 2015 Study

SAS, the leader in business analytics software and services, has climbed seven places as one of Australia’s 50 best employers by the BRW Best Places to Work 2015 Study. Now in 16th place – up from 23rd place last year – this is SAS Australia’s seventh consecutive inclusion in the list and again highlights the value of the company’s culture, leadership vision and customer focus.

Acknowledging this important recognition, SAS Australia and New Zealand managing director, David Bowie, said, "Yet again, our ranking in the Best Places to Work list reflects our determination to maintain a leadership capability that is the envy of our industry. It empowers us collectively and individually and is at every level of our organisation."

Furthering the leadership culture at SAS includes regular think-tank and feedback sessions that bring together employees in different roles from across the organisation to encourage original thinking and promote two-way communication.

SAS Australia has sharpened its focus on Career Development and as Bowie explained, "I strongly believe in our corporate responsibility to empower employees and support their development.

Having long run interactive workshops and provided self-assessment tools that help our people develop their skills and increase the value of their contribution, we now complement this by partnering with external talent management consultants. Today, every employee can freely take advantage of expert professional guidance to help them realise their near and long term career aspirations."

The BRW 2015 Best Places to Work will be published in a feature insert in Australian Financial Review and on Wednesday September 2, 2015.
