SAS recognized among the best companies to work for in Spain
Among the five best companies to work for (100 to 250 employees), SAS has excelled in employee autonomy, conciliation and social benefits
SAS, the leader in business analytics software, has been recognized by the human resources consultancy Great Place to Work® as one of the five best companies to work for in Spain in the category of companies from 100 and 250 employees. Best Workplaces List 2015 is an international workplaces quality standard.
The HR research and management consulting firm distinguished SAS Spain’s employee policies and practices from over 305 companies analyzed. Led by SAS Iberia CEO Christian Gardiner, the company initiated an organizational change in January 2012, marked by a strong commitment to attract the best talent. In just the first year (2013), SAS was already being recognized as one of the best companies to work for in Spain by GPTW.
SAS has excelled in employee autonomy, as demonstrated by two key measures from the GPTW survey:
- Ability to work independently (4 points above the average among Best Workplaces).
- Accountability (more than 10 points above the Top 50 list this year).
As for reconciliation and special and unique benefits, SAS is 4 and 12 points, respectively, above other best companies to work for.
"I feel very proud to be among the five best companies to work for in Spain. It means consolidating our human resources policy and practices, and recognizing our talent attraction and management,” said Gardiner. “This important award encourages us to continue improving in the pursuit of excellence within our organization. Happy employees create satisfied customers."
