Nordic Quantum Life Science Round Table
11-12 November, 2021
Nordic Quantum Life Science Round Table
Quantum-based and AI-enabled Health applications
You are hereby cordially invited to our Nordic Quantum Life Science Round Table.
The purpose is to share knowledge and explore further possibilities of Quantum Life Science (QLS) in interdisciplinary groups of scientists and innovators within Quantum Technologies, AI, and Life Sciences.
The roundtable discussions will be a combination of Nordic QLS overviews, in-depth QLS sessions on Quantum Computing and Quantum Sensing and insights from a QLS start-up. We will also have some Funders and Venture Capitalists contributing with their views on this emerging field. Friday after lunch, we will visit Val Zwiller’s lab at KTH.
Among the speakers are:
- Case story on a Start-up by Sabrina Maniscalco, CEO and co-founder of Algorithmiq as well as Professor of Quantum Information, Computing and Logic at Uni. of Helsinki and associated professor at the university of Turku
- Lene Oddershede, Senior Vice President and Professor, the Novo Nordisk Foundation
- Matthias Christandl, professor Uni. of Copenhagen and Center Leader Novo Nordisk Foundation Research Center 'Quantum for Life'
- Göran Johansson, professor, Head of the Applied Quantum Physics Laboratory; Chalmers Uni. and PI at Wallenberg Center for Quantum Technology
- Magnus Boman, professor Intelligent Software Services KTH and affiliated with Karolinska Institutet, Computational epidemiologist
- Richard Leksell, Partner at Bonit Capital
- Patrik Sobocki, Associate professor Data sciences, Karolinska Institutet and Investment Director, Industrifonden
- Val Zwiller, professor at Quantum photonics at KTH focusing on Quantum Sensing for Life Sciences and co-founder of Single Quantum
We look forward to two engaging days for building Quantum Life Science knowledge in order for the Nordics to stay at the forefront of this emerging field.
