Logistic Regression Examples Using the SAS System, Version 6, First Edition (Print on Demand*)

1-55544-674-4

"I have spent 20 years making every effort to learn and use SAS only by example, so this book really meets my needs in a big way. This book is a winner, highly recommended for anyone who, like me, is a SAS user but only occasionally works with logistic regression models. The book is a fine staff product, and it is hoped that it will be followed by similar efforts for other advanced statistical techniques, such as generalized linear modeling or mixed-model analysis analyzes. "The examples provided in this book are clear and concise, allowing the reader to understand and apply given results. Basic concepts are covered in the first six chapters, with goodness-of-fit, regression diagnostics, and correction for overdispersion detailed in chapters 7-9. More advanced topics, rarely found in other software packages performing logistic regression, such as ROC curves, infinite parameters, 1:1 and N:M matched data, interaction models, multinomial logit modeling, LD(50 subscript) analysis and Bradley-Terry modeling for paired comparisons, are described superbly in the remaining chapters."
