SAS Nordic Partners in association with the Nordic User Group “Fans”, has arranged the competition “Smarter Together in Real Life” for our partners in partnership with customers and students. We would like to invite you to demonstrate the value of analysis, open data combined with SAS and open source. Partner (team-leader) is responsible for all engagement with SAS (single point of contact) Partners are responsible for the use-case, data and all team-members (incl. customer and students) Engage potential customers and students, will be handled through partners. The use-case must be “new for the SAS community” or set a new standard. (New ‘code’ algorithms must be produced).
How do we select the winning team?
The winner will be selected by an expert panel. All participating teams will record two showcase videos “15+3min” of their contribution, – Similar to a “TED talk and a live demo”. Videos will be uploaded and published on the external SAS Hackathon website. The team who can demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the power of analytics. Evaluation criteria: Value (business or common good), the “smartness” and usability in relation to the new analytical economy and the implementation of the analytical life cycle in Real-life.
The winner will be presented and showcased at SAS Nordic Forum. The winning team will receive a trip for two to SAS® Global Forum 2019 in Dallas in April, (including travel and accommodation, flight ticket from the Nordic, and 2 separate hotel room accommodation).
