Continuous changes in financial markets, regulations, customer behavior, and a solid technological push for cloud computing have marked the last years. For all institutions being agile and “expecting the unexpected” becomes vital in today’s turbulent times. The recent troubles of Credit Suisse and even the collapse of the Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) probably do not mark the start of a new financial crisis. However, it shows clearly that a proper approach towards analytically supported Risk Management, including Stress Testing, becomes increasingly challenging. It is vital for all companies and will be discussed during the “Managing Risk In Challenging Times“ panel.

In the VUCA world, where the source and front-end systems change every year, business changes even faster, employees rotate very often, and the customer expects real-time service, analytical tools have to be very elastic in terms of integrations, universal in skills needed to use them and as automated as possible. As the gap between business-savvy analysts and programming data scientist grows, analytical tools also diverge into two groups: easy clickable and hard code. Let’s see how Play and UPC adopt their analytical toolkit to thrive and bring value to that reality.
Monika Książek, Head of Data Science, Play & UPC
As organizations progress in their digital transformations alongside a solid need to scale AI across all their business processes, aligning strategy, sponsorship, talent management, driving AI culture, and the responsible deployment of AI becomes paramount. During the panel discussion, industry leaders will discuss what actions should be taken to increase AI maturity, speed up the adoption of analytics in multiple areas and unleash more value from it.
