SAS UK makes Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For

SAS recognized for eighth time

Once again, SAS UK, the leader in business analytics software and services, has been recognised as one of the Top 100 Best Companies to Work For by The Sunday Times, ranked 73.

This is the eighth time that SAS has made it into this list, demonstrating its passion for maintaining employee satisfaction and workplace engagement.

For the second year running, the company also won a special award for ‘Best Innovation in Engagement Practice’. The award was presented for an innovative and creative approach to engaging employees during last summer’s ‘SAS in the park’ event, where a rock festival theme was adopted. The head of business operations became the MC and staff from across the company delivered updates with rock anthems of their choice used to introduce them to the stage.

Best Companies’ judging criteria identifies workplace performance and best practice according to nine key factors - leadership, my manager, personal growth, wellbeing, my team, giving something back, social business, my company and fair deal.

The employee survey undertaken, which contributes to the ranking, revealed that 83 per cent of staff feel proud to work for SAS and 84 per cent feel they can make a valuable contribution to the company's success. In addition 76 per cent admit they love their jobs.

This recognition continues the momentum gained from SAS recently being ranked number two in FORTUNE magazine's annual "100 Best Companies to Work For in the US."
