Keith Collins discusses CIO's transformational role, unlocking the value of big data

Keith Collins, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of business analytics leader SAS, will speak to CIOs and senior IT executives at the 2013 MIT Sloan CIO Symposium. He will join more than 50 presenters from a wide range of industries, as well as leading academics from MIT to discuss how to derive value from big data and optimally manage IT infrastructure to accommodate growth.

Collins, who leads R&D, Information Services and Technical Support at SAS, ensures that SAS® technologies align with customer needs and market demand. In addition to Collins, Dr. Graham Hughes, Chief Medical Officer for the SAS Center for Health Analytics and Insights, will be speaking. The May 22 event delivers insight from academic research with counsel from business leaders on ways to operate in the face of complexity and dramatic change.

Nearly 700 CIOs and senior IT executives will attend the 2013 MIT Sloan CIO Symposium Wednesday, May 22, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at MIT’s Kresge Auditorium, 77 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, MA.
