17 June 2013 - Business leaders, analytics practitioners and data scientists will gather here 18-20 June to learn about the business value of applied analytics and how to adopt new, smart ways for business growth and optimisation.

Regardless of industry or skill level, Analytics 2013 attendees will gain invaluable knowledge of best practices, new technologies, peer experiences and more at the Analytics 2013 conference hosted by business analytics leader SAS. The event will be held at London's Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel.

"For those who are already immersed in advanced analytics, they can attend sessions to give them a fresh perspective, and others who may be seeking to increase the value of their data assets and investment in analytics, this event provides a rare opportunity with its wide range of topics and options," said Myles Hannon, Conference Chair, Analytics 2013.

The agenda for Analytics 2013 includes:

  • Three keynote presentations from Andy Diggleman, SAS Vice President Planning, Operations and Strategy; Tim Harford, senior columnist for the Financial Times, presenter of BBC Radio 4’s ‘More or Less’ and writer of ‘The Undercover Economist’; Greg Searle, Olympic gold medalist, author and leadership development consultant.

  • Forty session speakers, including global analytics experts from the Royal Bank of Scotland, Cardiff University, British Airways, Conoco Phillips, Scotiabank, Odense Municipality (Denmark), Revenue Irish Tax and Customs, Singapore Management University and others.

  • Pre-conference training sessions will be held 17-18 June. When registering, please select the package which includes the training sessions.

  • Technology demonstrations, exhibit hall, networking opportunities and social events

Industry experts and working professionals will present Analytics 2013 sessions centering on data mining, forecasting, text analytics, fraud detection, analytics for customer insight, predictive modeling, data optimisation, analytics for risk, supply chain analytics and high-performance analytics. A separate session track, Introduction to Analytics, will be offered for those attendees seeking a foundational understanding of what analytics offers.

The annual Analytics Conference was first held in Copenhagen in 2009. In 2011, the conference merged with SAS' data mining and business forecasting conferences create to build an international series solely focused on analytics.
